No. 27 Eagles Place Seventh at CCSU Mini Meet

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – In its last meet before the ACC Championships, the No. 27 Boston College women's cross country team competed at the CCSU Mini Meet in New Britain, Connecticut on Friday, Oct. 25, finishing seventh.
Finishing in first for BC was sophomore Katherine Mitchell, who ran a 10:37.5 to finish 27th on the three-kilometer course. A trio of sophomores finished as the Eagles' top three, as Katherine Stanwood (10:42.9) and Jillian Skerry (10:46.3) placed 31st and 39th, respectively.
Maureen Lewin came in fourth on BC and 40th in the race, running a 10:48.0, while Anna Harmon placed 41st with a 10:50.0.
The last Eagle to finish was Andi Carnell, who ran a 10:57.7 to place 55th.
