Two Earn All-ACC Honors as No. 27 Eagles Run to 7th Place at ACC Championships

BLACKSBURG, Va. – The No. 27 Boston College women's cross country team ran to a seventh-place finish at the 2019 ACC Cross Country Championships in Blacksburg, Virginia on Friday, Nov. 1.
BC scored 159 points, just trailing Wake Forest (158 points) in sixth and Syracuse (154 points) in fifth.
Isabelle Kennedy led the Eagles, finishing in 11th with a time of 21:06.9. Lauren White trailed Kennedy by 11 seconds, placing 17th with a time of 21:17.4. Anna Oeser closed out the top three for BC when she crossed the finish line in 25th with a time of 21:33.4.
With their finishes, both Kennedy and White earned All-ACC Honors.
The Eagles were one of four teams in the meet with three finishers in the top-25.
Fian Sullivan Sweeney was the next Eagle to cross the finish line, running a time of 22:01.9 to place 50th, while Emeline Delanis rounded out BC's scoring team in 61st with a time of 22:14.8.
Sarah Flynn and Caroline Barry were the next two to finish, running times of 22:31.4 and 22:39.0 to place 75th and 79th, respectively.
