CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Five Boston College women's hockey alumnae and current Eagle Cayla Barnes were named to a 23-player roster for the U.S. Women's National Team that will take part in a week-long training camp in November. Megan Keller, Kali Flanagan, Emily Matheson, Alex Carpenter and Katie Burt will also represent Team USA.
The camp, which will be held in Pittsburgh at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex from Nov. 4-10, will be held with the Canadian Women's National Team and will feature two exhibition contests between the two countries on Nov. 8 and Nov. 10.
The joint camp replaces the annual Four Nations Cup, which was scheduled to be played in Sweden at that time.
All six Eagles most recently attended the 2019 USA Hockey Women's National Festival in Lake Placid in August. Matheson, Carpenter, Keller and Barnes were also members of the U.S. squad that won the 2019 IIHF Women's World Championship in April.
