BC, Clemson Slated for Primetime on ACC Network

Eagles and Tigers kick off at 7:30 in Death Valley on October 26.
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Boston College's road football game at Clemson on Saturday, October 26 has been selected as a nationally televised primetime match-up on ACC Network. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

The Eagles are currently 3-3 overall and 1-2 in the ACC with a league win over Virginia Tech. The No. 3 Tigers are 6-0 and 4-0 in the league atop the Atlantic Division standings.

This year's match-up marks the second year in a row that the two programs will meet in primetime. Last year, No. 17 Boston College hosted No. 2 Clemson at Alumni Stadium with ESPN's College Gameday on campus that morning. The Tigers won that game, 27-7.

The two sides compete for the O'Rourke-McFadden Trophy with Clemson leading the all-time series, 17-9-2. BC's last win in the series came at home in 2010 and its last win at Memorial Stadium was in 2007.

This week, BC is in action at home against NC State during Homecoming on Saturday at noon. The Eagles vs. Wolfpack game will be broadcast on the ACC's regional sports network, including NESN, and can be heard locally on 93.7 WEEI beginning with the network pregame show at 11:30 a.m.
