BOSTON COLLEGE VS. VIRGINIA - ALL-TIME SERIES
- Today's game is the 22nd all-time meeting between the two teams.
- Boston College is 7-14 all-time against Virginia.
- In ACC play, BC is 7-11 against UVA.
- Virginia has won the last five and seven of the last eight matchups.
- Last year, BC was edged, 59-58, in Charlottesville on Dec.30, 2017.
BOSTON COLLEGE IN ACC PLAY
- Boston College is 77-144 in 13 seasons in the ACC.
- The Eagles finished with a 7-11 record in ACC play last year - the most conference wins since the 2012-13 season.
- The Eagles' best ACC mark came in its inaugural season, going 11-5 in conference play in 2005-06 en route to a third place finish.
- BC tied for third in 2006-07 (10-6) and fourth in 2010-11 (9-7).

KY BOWMAN:Â THE NATION'S MOST DYNAMIC GUARD
- Ky Bowman is the only player in the country averaging at least: 20.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.6 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game. Â
- It is the most well-rounded stat line in 26 years of Division I basketball.
- In 1992-93, Penny Hardaway of Memphis posted at least that stat line (21.0 ppg/8.5 rpg/6.4 apg/2.5 spg/1.2 bpg).
- Bowman is the only player nationally at 6-1 or shorter to average 7.8 rebounds and 0.9 blocks per game.
- Last year, Bowman was the only player in the country to average at least 17.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game.
- Since the 1990-91 season, only 10 players have registered at least those season averages.
- One of those players was National Player of the Year - Denzel Valentine of Michigan State in 2016.
- Three were top three NBA Draft picks: Ben Simmons, LSU (#1, 2016); Evan Turner, Ohio State (#2, 2010); and Hardaway, Memphis (#3, 1993).
- Five were first round NBA Draft picks: Simmons; Turner; Hardaway; Valentine (#14, 2016); Bob Sura, FSU (#17, 1995).

- Last year, BC bested No. 1 Duke, 89-84, on Dec. 9, 2017.

- Ky Bowman is one of three players in the ACC to rank among the top 10 in scoring (2nd, 20.4) and rebounding (9th, 7.8).
- Zion Williamson of Duke (3rd, 20.2 ppg; 3rd, 9.5 rpg) and Jordan Nwora of Louisville (t6th, 17.9 ppg; 7th, 8.2 rpg) are the others. Â
- BC is the only school in the ACC with three players averaging 7.4 rebounds per game or more (Mitchell, Bowman, Popovic).
- Three Eagles rank among the top 10 in FT% in the ACC: Wynston Tabbs is third (44-52, 84.6%), Ky Bowman fifth (65-78, 83.3%), and Jordan Chatman seventh (41-50, 83.8%).

- Bowman had 38 vs. Wyoming and 44 vs. Hartford, Tabbs 28 vs. Sacred Heart, and Chatman 28 against Providence.
- During 2016-17 and 2017-18, Bowman, Chatman, and Jerome Robinson each had at least 28 points in a single game.
- A BC player has also posted a 40-point game in back-to-back seasons. Robinson had 46 last year at Notre Dame.
DOUBLE DOUBLE-DOUBLES
- Nik Popovic and Ky Bowman have each registered double-doubles in the same game on three occasions.
- Versus Hartford, Bowman (44 pts/10 reb) and Popovic (13 pts/10 reb) each recorded a double-double.
- Against Columbia, Popovic and Bowman became the first BC pair to tally a double-double in the same game in 12 years.
- Popovic registered career-highs in points (22) and rebounds (14), while Bowman added 24 points and 10 boards.
- In BC's next game vs. Fairfield, Bowman had 19 points and 12 boards, while Popovic had 11 points and 10 rebounds.
- Entering this season, the last time two BC players had a double-double in the same game happened on Dec. 28, 2006.
- Sean Marshall (30 pts/10 reb) and Sean Williams (19 pts/10 reb) had double-doubles for BC vs. Duquesne.
JAIRUS HAMILTON ANNOUNCING PRESENCE WITH AUTHORITY
- Jairus Hamilton tied his season-high with 13 points at Virginia Tech on Jan. 5.
- The 6-8 freshman connected on 4-of-6 from beyond the arc in 31 minutes of play.
- He also scored 13 points against Providence, making 5-of-8 shots from the floor and 3-of-3 from the FT line.
- Hamilton has scored in double figures on four occasions and grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds vs. Hartford.
- Hamilton nearly registered his first collegiate double-double vs. Sacred Heart, with 10 points and nine rebounds.
- The Charlotte native is shooting 55.0% on his two-point field goals (22-40) this season.
JARED HAMILTON MAKES BOSTON COLLEGE DEBUT AT DEPAUL AND IMPACT OFF THE BENCH
- Jared Hamilton made his Boston College at DePaul after sitting out the first nine games due to NCAA transfer regulations.
- Hamilton scored four points and logged a steal in close to 15 minutes of action in the win over the Blue Demons.
- Last time out at Virginia Tech, he scored eight points and grabbed four boards in 29 minutes off the bench.
- The 6-4, 190 lb. guard transferred to BC from Georgia Southern last year during the mid-semester break.
- He played eight games during the 2017-18 season at Georgia Southern, averaging 6.5 points and 2.5 rebounds.
- Hamilton began his college career at Jacksonville State in 2015-16, averaging 9.0 points and 4.9 rebounds in 30 starts.
- At JSU, he was a three-time Ohio Valley Rookie of the Week and was the conference's fifth-leading freshman scorer.
- A native of Charlotte, N.C., he is the older brother of Eagles freshman Jairus Hamilton.
