Eagles Home Stand Ends vs. No. 9 NC State on Sunday

BC hosts No. 9 NC State at 2
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College (11-3, 0-1 ACC) will host No. 9 NC State (14-0, 1-0) on Sunday, Jan. 6 at 2 p.m. Fans can view the game on ACC Network.

Sunday's game vs. NC State game marks the ninth consecutive home game for the Eagles. It is the longest home stretch for BC since the 2016-17 season. That season the Eagles played five consecutive home games from Dec. 10 to Jan. 2 and went 5-0. This nine-game run started on Nov. 27 vs. Providence. BC is currently 5-3 in the run.
The Eagles are coming off a hard-fought 81-76 loss to Georgia Tech on Thursday night. Junior forward Georgia Pineau led BC with 22 points, six rebounds and five assists. Freshman Makayla Dickens chipped in with 15 points, while junior guard Taylor Ortlepp had 13 points.

NC State improved to 14-0 with a win over in-state rival Duke, 63-51, on Thursday night. Aislinn Konig and Erika Cassel had 14 points apiece in the win.

- The current margin of victory record is 52 points set against Niagara on Dec. 12, 2006. BC fell one point shy of the record with the win, 112-61 (51 points), Rider at the Hawk Holiday Tournament on Nov, 25, 2018. The fewest points allowed of 29 points remains the program record.
