BOSTON COLLEGE VS. VIRGINIA TECH - ALL-TIME SERIES
- Today's game marks the 31st meeting between the two schools.
- Boston College is 18-12 all-time vs. Virginia Tech.
- In ACC play, the Eagles are 12-10 versus the Hokies.
- BC is 7-7 all-time at Cassell Coliseum against Virginia Tech.
- From 2000-04, both teams were members of the Big East.
- Boston College was 6-1 against Virginia Tech in Big East play.
- The Eagles have lost their last four matchups vs. the Hokies.
- In the last meeting, BC lost, 85-80, in OT at home on Feb. 1, 2018

BOSTON COLLEGE IN ACC PLAY
- Boston College is 77-143 in 13 seasons in the ACC.
- The Eagles finished with a 7-11 record in ACC play last year - the most conference wins since the 2012-13 season.
- The Eagles' best ACC mark came in its inaugural season, going 11-5 in conference play in 2005-06 en route to a third place finish.
- BC tied for third in 2006-07 (10-6) and fourth in 2010-11 (9-7).

KY BOWMAN: THE NATION'S MOST DYNAMIC GUARD
- Ky Bowman is the only player in the country averaging at least: 20.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.6 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game.
- It is the most well-rounded stat line in 26 years of Division I basketball.
- In 1992-93, Penny Hardaway of Memphis posted at least that stat line (21.0 ppg/8.5 rpg/6.4 apg/2.5 spg/1.2 bpg).
- Last year, Bowman was the only player in the country to average at least 17.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game.
- Since the 1990-91 season, only 10 players have registered at least those season averages.
- One of those players was National Player of the Year - Denzel Valentine of Michigan State in 2016.
- Three were top three NBA Draft picks: Ben Simmons, LSU (#1, 2016); Evan Turner, Ohio State (#2, 2010); and Hardaway, Memphis (#3, 1993).
- Five were first round NBA Draft picks: Simmons; Turner; Hardaway; Valentine (#14, 2016); Bob Sura, FSU (#17, 1995).

WYNSTON TABBS: ADDING ANOTHER DYNAMIC TO BOSTON COLLEGE BACKCOURT
- Wynston Tabbs is the only freshman nationally to average 14.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.2 steals/game.
- He is one of 32 players nationally and four in the ACC - Ky Bowman, Marquise Reed (Clemson), and Nickeil Alexander-Walker (VT) to post that stat line.
- The Suitland, Md. native ranks fifth in the ACC and 28th nationally among all freshmen in scoring.
- In each of the nine games which Tabbs has reached double figures, he has scored at least 15 points.
- Tabbs scored 13 of his 15 at DePaul in the second half, including 10 straight points during a 1:54 stretch as BC took its first lead.
KY BOWMAN GOES FOR 44 POINTS VS. HARTFORD, PT. I
- Ky Bowman poured in a career-high 44 points (14-23 FG; 5-8 3FG; 11-14 FT) vs. Hartford on Dec. 31.
- It is the sixth-highest single-game scoring performance in Boston College history. It was also the 13th 40-point game in BC history.
- The 44 points were the second-most in Conte Forum history, bested only by Tyrese Rice's 46 points vs. UNC on March 1, 2008.
- Bowman's 44 points were the most by a BC player since Jerome Robinson went for 46 points at Notre Dame on Feb. 6, 2018.
- His 14 FG made tied for the second-most in a game by a BC player, trailing Robinson's 15 from last season's at Notre Dame.
- Since the ACC's inaugural season in 1953-54, there have been 108 40-point games by 58 different players.
KY BOWMAN GOES FOR 44 POINTS VS. HARTFORD, PT. II
- In addition to his 44 points vs. Hartford, Ky Bowman tallied his fourth double-double of the season by grabbing 10 rebounds.
- It is the first 44/10 game nationally since Davidson's Peyton Aldridge had 45 and 12 at St. Bonaventure on Feb. 27, 2018.
- Since the 1996-97 season, 24 total players have had at least 44 points and 10 boards in a single game.
- Bowman also registered a career-high five steals and blocked two shots in 45 minutes of play in the Hartford game.
- Dating back to the 1996-97 season, he is the only player to post that statistical line in a box score.

- Ky Bowman is one of three players in the ACC to rank among the top 10 in scoring (2nd, 20.9) and rebounding (9th, 7.8).
- Zion Williamson of Duke (4th, 19.8ppg; 2nd, 9.4 rpg) and Jordan Nwora of Louisville (7th, 17.8 ppg; 5th, 8.3 rpg) are the others.
- Boston College is the only school in the ACC with three players averaging 7.5 rebounds per game or more.
- Wynston Tabbs (44-52, 84.6%), Jordan Chatman (31-37, 83.8%), and Ky Bowman (61-74, 82.4%) are shooting a combined 83.4% (136-163) from the free throw line this season. The rest of the team is connecting at a 54.9% clip (89-162).
