Eagles Sweep Bryant and Marist, Improve to 4-0

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College improved to 4-0 on the spring season with a pair of 7-0 home victories on Saturday against Bryant and Marist at the Flynn Recreation Complex.
BC won 11 of its 12 singles matches in straight sets and took five of the six doubles matchups on Saturday. From the No. 1, 2, and 3 singles slots, Natasha Irani, Laura Lopez, and Dasha Possokhova earned straight set victories in each match, losing a total of 18 games.
Micayla Casella also won both of her singles matches in dominant fashion as she dropped just five games. Loren Haukova and Reagan Posorske teamed up to claim both of their doubles matches while earning victories in all of their singles matches. Maria Ross and Marion Conklin also chipped in singles wins against Bryant.
The Eagles host their third Ivy League opponent of the season on Sunday (Jan. 27) when Yale visits Chestnut Hill for a 2 p.m. match.
