Eagles Look Ahead to Terrier Classic

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's track and field team is back in action this weekend at the annual John Thomas Terrier Classic, held Friday, Jan. 25 at Boston University.

Julia Lyons is the lone Eagle competing in the 60M dash. Lyons set a PR in the event back at the Howlin' Husky Invitational at Northeastern on Dec. 8, registering a time of 7.81.

Monica Heil will race in the 200M, having posted a season-best time of 26.35 at Northeastern on Dec. 8. Other Eagles competing in the 200M are Emma Kinney, and Vanessa Reimer.

Anna Flynn, Emily Kane, and Katherine Mitchell will be competing in the 800M run for BC. The Eagles placed three runners in the top four in the event at the BU Multi-Team Meet.

In the 1000M run, Gianna Bender will look to improve on her personal-best time of 2:51.64 this season. Emily Criscuolo and Katherine DeLoreto will also toe the line in the 1000M this coming Friday.

Abigail Gothers and Jessica Creedon will compete in the high jump, while Julia Lyons is entered in the long jump.
