CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's soccer team will host Temple on Sunday, Sept. 9 at 1 p.m.
Boston College is now 7-0-0 and is off to the best start since 2006. The Eagles went 9-0-0 in 2006 and in 2016 the team opened up with a 9-0-1 run.
BC has outscored opponents, 17-2 in the first seven games. The Eagles have not let up a goal since the first half of the opening game. Since the 4-2 win over Quinnipiac on August 17, Boston College has shut out six straight opponents, including No. 21 Texas Tech, 1-0, on Sept. 1.
ABOUT TEMPLE
- Temple is coming off a two-game road swing. On Friday night, the Owls lost at Lehigh, 2-0.
- This will be the first meeting between BC and Temple.
- The Owls are currently 3-3.
- Jules Blank leads Temple with two goals.
