September 20, 2018 | Men's Soccer
Last nine meetings have been one-goal affairs
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – After a week of rest, the Boston College men's soccer team will head to Durham, N.C. tomorrow night to take on the Blue Devils. The conference clash will be streamed on ACC Network Extra, which is available on WatchESPN and the ESPN app.
Â
With a Tuesday trip to Connecticut postponed due to weather, the Eagles' last action came on Sept. 14 against Louisville. BC (2-1-3, 1-1-0 ACC) and Cardinals – a 2017 NCAA Tournament team – battled hard for 80 minutes before Cheri Dieye notched the game-winner for the visitors with 10 minutes to play.
Â
Duke (3-2-0, 0-1-0 ACC) heads into the game on a two-game dip after dropping a road match to Louisville, 3-0, and a home contest to Georgetown, 1-0. The Blue Devils were picked to finish third in the ACC Coastal Division.
