
Holy Cross on Tap for Eagles on Tuesday Night

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College men's soccer team will host Holy Cross on Tuesday night, with the non-conference contest kickoff set for 5 p.m. at the Newton Campus Fields. The game will be streamed on ACC Network Extra, which is available on WatchESPN and the ESPN app.

The Eagles (2-0-2) come into the game looking for a second consecutive win after topping ACC foe Clemson, 3-2, at home on Friday night. Simon Enstrom notched five points on two goals and one assist, with the senior slotting home the game-winner in the 89th minute. Enstrom was tabbed as the ACC Co-Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts.

Holy Cross (0-2-1) enters Tuesdays contest with three non-conference games under its belt. The Crusaders last played on Sept. 5, dropping a 3-0 decision on the road at the University of Rhode Island.

ABOUT HOLY CROSS
• The Crusaders opened the season with a close, 2-1, loss at then-No. 16 Fordham before trying Siena, 1-1. Last Wednesday, Holy Cross traveled to the University of Rhode Island and lost, 3-0.
• Mason Brummett and Owen Azark have scored the two goals thus far for the Crusaders.
• Freshman forward Simon Becher was voted to the Top Drawer Soccer's Best XI Preseason Freshman Team.

• The Boston College men's soccer team opened up ACC play with a dramatic come-from-behind, 3-2, win over Clemson in their Sept. 7 conference opener.
• Simon Enstrom scored twice, tying the game in the 71st minute before firing home the game-winner with a minute to play. The captain also assisted on Callum Johnson's goal in the first half
• Trevor Davock and Kristofer Konradssonalso earned assists in the win - which was the first for BC (2-0-2, 1-0-0 ACC) over Clemson (3-2-0, 0-1-0 ACC) since the 2009 season - with Davock finding Enstrom for the winner.
• All of BC's wins in the series have come in Newton, with the Eagles maintain a 4-1-3 mark at home.
• The three goals mark the most scored by BC in a single game in the series with Clemson. Twice before the Eagles have scored two goals in a game against the Tigers.
ENSTROM CLAIMS CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK…
• Simon Enstrom was tabbed as the ACC Men's Soccer Co-Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 10 following his five-point performance in BC's 3-2 win over Clemson on Sept. 7.
• Enstrom played a part in all three goals in the win, assisting on the game's opening goal, slotting a perfect pass across to Callum Johnson, and then tying the game in the 71st minute before firing home the game-winner with a minute to play.
• Enstrom finished the game with six shots. It was the sixth multi-goal game of his career and 10th multi-point outing.
• Overall, Enstrom is second in the ACC in points with 11 (five goals, one assist) and is tied for the lead in goals, with two other players also notching five. His 3.50 shots per game average is tied for the league lead as well.
…AND CONTINUES TO CLIMB BC CAREER CHARTS
• With five goals through four games in 2018, senior Simon Enstrom continues to climb up the BC career scoring charts.
• With 67 career points (26 goals, 12 assists), he is now six all-time in program history.
• Enstrom's 27 goals is also sixth all-time in program history, one spot ahead of Charlie Davies (25) and one spot behind Charlie Rugg (28).
• Enstrom's brace against Clemson marked the sixth multi-goal game of his career and 10th multi-point outing. It was his second multi-goal outing of the season following a brace in the season-opening win at Quinnipiac.
• The captain's single-game points record is six after his first career hat trick last year at Harvard on Oct. 10.
