The field hockey team travels to Quinnipiac to begin the season
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.: The No. 13 Boston College field hockey team begins their season Friday, August 24, with a non-conference matchup as they travel to Quinnipiac.
The Eagles have defeated the Bobcats in each of their 14 contests to date. BC has shut out Quinnipiac nine times and have only allowed the Bobcats to score six goals all-time. Sophomore Jaime Natale scored two goals against the Bobcats in her first collegiate appearance, while classmates Elizabeth Warner, Cassidy Atchison, and Caroline McGovern all recorded their first career points.
The team looks to continue their season-opening win performance, having won their season-debuts since 2008.
