Urbinati Shines In Tough Loss at Miami

BC loses to Miami, 6-1
The Boston College women's tennis team fell to ACC foe No. 18 Miami, 6-1, on Friday afternoon in Coral Gables, Florida.
The Eagles lone victory came behind No. 4 singles spot Jackie Urbinati, who earned a 6-0, 6-3 win over Ana Madcur.
The Hurricanes won the first three single matches including a hard fought battle at No. 3 between BC's Natasha Irani and Miami's Daniella Roldan. Irani lost 5-7, 7-6 (7-4), 1-0 (10-7).
Senior Asiya Dair lost her No. 1 singles match to No. 6 ranked EstelaPerez-Somarriba, 6-1, 6-1.
Boston College will play at Florida State on Sunday at noon.
