Top-Seeded Eagles Head to Durham for ACC Championship

- Boston College enters the ACC Championship as the tournament's No. 1 seed for the first time in program history ... BC capped the league season with its first-ever perfect 7-0 year en route to the regular-season title
- Last time out, the Eagles notched their program-record 17th consecutive victory with the 13-12 victory over Syracuse
- Boston College comes into the ACC Championship with a 3-12 all-time record in the event, advancing to the semifinals three times (2011, 2013 and 2017)
- The Eagles' 17 wins has tied the program's single-season win total, which was originally set in 2017

- On Tuesday, Sam Apuzzo won her league-leading fourth ACC weekly honor of the season, taking home Offensive Player of the Week honors ... she also earned the nods on March 6, March 27 and April 17
- Sam Apuzzo and Dempsey Arsenault have combined for 180 of BC's 271 draw controls this season ... Apuzzo's 100 DCs mark the highest single-season total in BC history ... - Tess Chandler has netted a career-high 32 goals this season, and scored her 100th career goal on Saturday, April 14 against Virginia Tech

- Dempsey Arsenault enters Thursday's game with 97 career points and is looking to become the newest member of the Eagles' 100-Point Club

- BC is 3-1 all-time against Louisville as the series began in 2015 upon the Cards' entry into the ACC
- BC is 2-0 at home and 1-1 on the road against Louisville
- Boston College won the first-ever meeting between the teams, a 16-15 win in overtime in Newton on March 11, 2015
- Louisville took the second meeting - a 7-6 overtime win at U of L in 2016
- BC has won the last two meetings: a 14-11 win in Newton in 2017, and the 19-10 victory in Louisville earlier this season
- Thursday's game will be the teams' first-ever in postseason play
LAST TIME VS. LOUISVILLE
- The teams last met on March 17 in Louisville with the Eagles claiming a 19-10 road victory
- After Dempsey Arsenault and Tess Chandler put BC up 2-0 with the Eagles' first two goals, Louisville tied it up at 2-2
- After Arsenault scored her second of the half, the Cardinals scored three straight to close first half and go into halftime with a 5-3 advantage
- After the break, BC scored the first four goals, including a pair by Kaileen Hart, to take a 7-5 lead
- Julia Wood's goal pulls the Cards within one before Chandler and Cara Urbank tallied back-to-back to put BC up 9-6
- Wood's third of the day started a quick two-goal burst by U of L, but BC then rattled off eight straight goals to extend a 17-8 advantage
- The teams traded goals in the final three minutes to push the final score to 19-10
- Dempsey Arsenault broke the BC single-game draw control record with 12 ... she also shared the scoring lead (3-2-5) with Kaileen Hart (4-1-5) ... Tess Chandler (4G), Emma Schurr (3-1-4)
- Lauren Daly made 11 saves in the win
