BC had two first place finishes at the meet
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Boston College women's track and field team competed at the Larry Ellis Invitational in Princeton, N.J. on Friday – Saturday, April 20-21.

Standout performances include a first place finish in the 400 meter hurdles by senior Julia Barron and a first place finish in the 3000 meter steeplechase by junior Paige Duca.

BC will race in its fifth meet of the outdoor season when it travels to Philadelphia, Penn. to participate in the Penn Relays on Thursday, April 26 – Saturday, April 28.

 BC Highlights:
- Senior Johanna Celli earned a third place finish in the 400 meter dash with a time of 55.62.
- Sophomore Julia Lyons was the top BC finisher in the 100 meter dash, crossing the line in 12.61.
- Senior Molly McCabe finished in eighth place in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:09.25.
- Freshman Miranda Thompson ran the 1500 meter run in 4:41.76.
- Freshman Anna Flynn finished in the fourth place in the 3000 meter run, crossing the line in 10:06.79. Classmate Colleen Sliney was close behind in sixth place with a time of 10:12.41.
- Freshman Lauren White finished in 11th place in the 5000 meter run with a time of 17:16.34.
- Barron won first place in the 400 meter hurdles, crossing the line in 1:00.82. Sophomore Emma Taylor finished in fifth place with a time of 1:01.41.
- Duca won the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 10:13.69. Senior Laura Leff finished in 10th place in the event at 10:38.68.
- The 4x400 meter relay team of Barron, Celli, sophomore Monica Heil and McCabe finished in fourth place at 3:47.61.
- In the field events, freshman Jessica Creedon took 11th in the high jump with a jump of 1.62 meters.
- Sophomore Amanda Sinkewicz took 10th place in the javelin throw with a toss of 37.78 meters.
