Morgan Finishes Career at the NCAA Champsionship

Senior Ella Morgan competed at the 2018 NCAA Fencing Championships this week. She was the lone fencer from Boston College that advanced to the championships this season.
Morgan competed in the epee event and finished 24th overall. She won seven bouts in the round-robin tournament.
A native of Highlands Ranch, Colorado native Morgan placed fourth in the team portion of the ACC Championships, going 5-4 in her discipline with four wins combined over Duke and UNC. At the NCAA Northeast Regional, she placed 10th and finished 14th. Her performance at the regional earned Morgan the at-large bid to the NCAA tournament in Pennsylvania.
Catherine Nixson from Princeton won the event with 17 victories while Veronika Zuikova from St. John's won 16 matches to place second overall.
