Boston College lost to ACC foe Georgia Tech, 67-43, at McCamish Pavilion on Thursday night.

BC is now 6-18 overall and 1-10 in the ACC. Georgia Tech is now 15-10 and 4-8 in the conference.

The Eagles were hit by the turnover bug as they gave the ball away 35 times, which resulted in 26 points.

Rookie Milan Bolden-Morris and sophomore Taylor Ortlepp kept the Eagles in the game as the tandem combined for 35 of the Eagles 43 points. Bolden-Morris had six points at the half and scored eight in the third quarter which helped BC cut the lead to just five points with 47 seconds to play.

The game turned when BC opened the fourth quarter with four straight turnovers which opened up the game for Tech.

- Rookie Milan Bolden-Morris hit four three-pointers and finished with 18 points to lead the Eagles in scoring.
- Sophomore Taylor Ortlepp scored 11, the fifth straight game she has notched double-figures.
- The Eagles opened up with two deep three-pointers from rookie Milan Bolden-Morris to go up 6-5 at the first break in the first quarter. Despite shooting just 25 percent from the floor, Boston College was down, 12-8, after the first quarter.
- Two turnovers to start the second quarter put BC in a 14-8 hole quickly as the Eagles struggled with the Tech pressure.
- Georgia Tech's pressure sped up BC's offense and produced a season-high 22 first half turnovers. Tech scored 16 points off the turnovers and BC was down, 26-14, at the half.
- Bolden-Morris had eight points as the Eagles cut into the lead. A three by the rookie guard had BC down by just seven. The Eagles got the game as close as five points with 47 seconds to play on a jumper by Katie Quandt but Tech ran off four straight points for a 44-33 end to the third quarters.
- The turnover bug arose in the fourth as BC lost the ball four times and the Tech lead was 47-33 with 6:51 to play.
- With 4:45 to play, the Eagles had 33 turnovers which resulted in 24 points for Georgia Tech. Despite a strong third quarter, BC did not score quarter until the 5:26 mark on two freebies from Bolden-Morris.
- The Eagles will return to Conte Forum on Sunday, Feb. 11 against Pittsburgh.
