CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College women's basketball is excited to announce the signing of Jocelyne Grier on Monday. The incoming Eagle reclassified from the 2026 to the 2025 class.Â
"We're excited to welcome Jocelyne to the Heights," said head coach Joanna Bernabei-McNamee. "She's a versatile scorer who can impact the game at all three levels, brings great energy, and competes every possession. Her skills and mindset will be a great fit for our program on and off the court!"
Grier arrives at the Heights after playing her high school ball at Winston-Salem Christian National. She helped her team capture back-to-back Independent school national titles in 2023-24 and 2024-25. In addition, she was named the NISAA Conference's Most Valuable Player and team captain.
For her career, she averaged 18 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals, while reaching the 1,000-point milestone.
Born on May 11, 2007, Grier is the daughter of Demario Grier and Lakeshia Armstrong. She has three siblings, Jordyn, Yosef, and Yasene. Her father played basketball at Pfeiffer University and later overseas in Germany and Cyprus. Her mother also played basketball at Pfeiffer. Grier played her travel ball with the Phoenix Elite.
