Women's team improves their record to 17-5

Women's Results:
With her exciting victory in the final bout of the final match of the day, senior Amanda Lewis sealed another undefeated day for Women's Fencing. With wins over Haverford, Stevens Tech, NJIT, Hunter and NYU, the Eagles improved to 17-5.

In sabre, Laura Donovan was the top performer with a 13-1 record while in epee, Ella Morgan went 10-3, including a win over three-time NCAA qualifier Julia Garcia of NJIT. Foilist Kayla Moy had a solid afternoon at 8-5.
"This team is showing fantastic fight. The drive to win is there for every bout, across all three weapon squads," said head coach Syd Fadner.
Men's Results:
The men's team posted two wins for the day, defeating Haverford and Hunter while dropping matches against Stevens, NJIT and NYU.
BC 15 - Haverford 12
Stevens 15 - BC 12
NJIT 16 - BC 11
BC 22 - Hunter 5
NYU 18 - BC 9
The day's top performer was Cam Mayer in foil, whose 11-4 record includes a win over NJIT's three-time NCAA qualifier Simon Rizell. Ben Slavin and Paul Chilana posted 10-5 records in sabre and epee respectively.
"While the overall results are not as strong as we would like for the men, the compete level is high, with key fencers stepping up to contribute. We're looking for a strong result at the Beanpot on the 14th," said Fadner.
