Eagles End Regular Season At Syracuse

Boston College is on the second leg of a two-game road swing. The Eagles will play Syracuse on Sunday at 2 p.m. The game will be live streamed on the ACC Network Extra.

In the Eagles first road game of the two-game swing, Boston College lost to No. 9 Florida State, 67-39. Graduate senior Andie Anastos led BC with nine points. The Eagles led at the half 27-25. BC's offense stalled in the second half due to 12 turnovers.

- Syracuse leads the overall series, 28-23.
- The two teams met twice in 2016-17 - Syracuse won both games 79-52 in January and in Feb. at Conte Forum, 72-45.

- The Eagles have made 178 three-pointers this season, sixth most by a team in program history. The record is 250 by the 2014-15 team.
-Senior Martina Mosetti leads the team in games played at 115 and has 68 career starts. Mosetti needs just two assists for 300 career helpers.

In the 2000-01 season Boston College finished the season 14-15 and won six of the last seven games of the season. One of the more exciting games took place in an overtime victory over Pittsburgh when Janelle McManus hit a jumper and hit a foul shot to help pull out a 65-63 win over the Panthers. BC Hall of Fame forward Becky Gottstein led all scorers with 25 points with eight rebounds while teammate Nicole Conway had nine points, eight rebounds, seven assists and five steals.
