SERIES HISTORY
- The rivalry goes back to 1997, with the Maroon and Gold holding the all-time advantage over BU with a 10-8 record.
- The Eagles look to continue their eight game win streak over the Terriers.
- Under Walker-Weinstein's reign, BC has yet to fall to BU – the last BU victory came in 2009, where the Terriers downed the Eagles 13-6 in Chestnut Hill.

LAST TIME vs. BOSTON UNIVERSITY
- Last season, the Eagles came out on top, squeaking by with a 13-11 triumph on their home opener.
- Junior Sam Apuzzo took charge against the Terriers, slating a game high six points off of six goals. This matches her current career high, which she achieved again during the Eagles' match with Holy Cross.
- Also recording goals for the Eagles were sophomore Taylor Walker, redshirt senior Tess Chandler, senior Kaileen Hart and graduated seniors Mary Kate O'Neill, Caroline Zaffino and Kayla O'Connor.
- Senior Emma Schurr picked up a game-high four draw controls while junior goalie Lauren Daly slated her first career-win.
- The Eagles outshot the Terriers, 38-27, and won more draw controls (21-5).

- During its home opener, BC cruised past Holy Cross with a 20-2 win over the Patriot League opponent.
- Apuzzo matched her career-high six goals – three of which came from the natural hat trick that she used to spark the Eagle offense into a 17-0 run.
- Senior Tara Schurr notched a new career high, adding four goals to the BC victory.
- In addition to Apuzzo and T. Schurr, nine other Eagles added at least a point.
- Freshmen Maggie Casey, Haley Cogliano, Cailee Perettine, Melanie Welch, Addison Kent and Abbey Ngai made their collegiate debuts. Casey also scored her first career goal while Perettine netted her first two. Ngai made three saves in her debut.
- BC had more draw controls (16-7), picked up more ground balls (29-19) and shot more (34-20) than Holy Cross.
- The Eagles managed to open their season 2-0 for the sixth consecutive season.
