Eagles arrive for First Responder Bowl Saturday, begin practice Sunday.
The Boston College Eagles took flight for Dallas on Saturday for their Dec. 26 match-up with Boise State in the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl. The game is slated for 1:30 p.m. ET on ESPN from the Cotton Bowl at the Texas state fairgrounds.
BC, which is playing in its third consecutive bowl and fifth in six years, was welcomed to Big D with a night at the Dallas Mavericks Gaming Facility plus Texas-style barbecue at the Eddie Deen Ranch. Former Eagles defensive end and current mayor of Dallas, Mike Rawlings, was on hand to introduce the Eagles.
On Sunday, Boston College took to the field for its first practice in Texas on the SMU campus.
