BOSTON COLLEGE VS. FAIRFIELD - ALL-TIME SERIES
- Today's marks the 36th all-time meeting between the two teams.
- BC is 24-11 overall vs. Fairfield and 14-5 all-time at home.
- Stags' assistant Mitch Buonaguro played for the Eagles from 1973-75 and was an assistant coach at Boston College from 1975-77.
- It marks the second game this season versus a Jesuit institution of higher learning. BC downed Loyola Chicago, 78-66, on Nov. 21.
BOSTON COLLEGE VERSUS THE MAAC
- Boston College is 42-31 all-time vs. teams that make up the MAAC.

KY BOWMAN:Â THE NATION'S MOST DYNAMIC GUARD
- Ky Bowman is the only player in the country averaging at least: 19.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 0.9 blocks, and 1.0 steals per game.
- In 2017-18, Bowman was the only player in the country to average at least 17.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.7 assists per game.
- Since the 1990-91 season, only 10 players have registered at least those season averages.
- One of those players was National Player of the Year - Denzel Valentine of Michigan State in 2016.
- Three were top three NBA Draft picks: Ben Simmons, LSU (#1, 2016); Evan Turner, Ohio State (#2, 2010); and Penny Hardaway, Memphis (#3, 1993).
- Five were first round NBA Draft picks: Simmons; Turner; Hardaway; Valentine (#14, 2016); Bob Sura, FSU (#17, 1995).
- Seven were named their conference's Player of the Year: Valentine (2015-16); Hardaway (1991-92); Turner (2009-10); Trenton Hassell, Austin Peay (1999-2000); Ricky Minard, Morehead State (2002-03); T.J. Cline, Richmond (2016-17); Patrick Cole N.C. Central (2016-17).

WYNSTON TABBS: ADDING ANOTHER DYNAMIC TO BOSTON COLLEGE BACKCOURT
- Wynston Tabbs is the only freshman nationally to average 15.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.1 steals/game.
- The Suitland, Md. native ranks fifth in the ACC and 28th nationally among all freshmen in scoring.
- His 28 points against Sacred Heart on Nov. 29 ranks as the 30th-best single-game scoring game by a frosh this season.
- The last BC freshman to average better than 15.3 ppg through his first nine collegiate games: Craig Smith (20.0 ppg, 2002-03).

- Over his last four games, Wynston Tabbs is averaging 20.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game.
- Tabbs is also close to registering the 50/40/90 line in FG/3FG/FT percentages, respective during the span.
- The freshman guard is connecting on 52.8% from the floor, 40.0% from 3-point land, and 85.0% from the foul line over the last four.
- BC is 3-0 this season, 7-0 since 2017-18, and 8-4 in his career when Ky Bowman scores 24 or more points.
- Nik Popovic is challenging as one of the top sixth men in the nation this season. BC is 4-0 when he is a reserve player.
- Popovic is the only player in the country to average 17.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and shoot 67.5% coming off the bench.
- Jairus Hamilton has seen his scoring average jump from 5.6 points per game in November to 10.5 in December.

- So far this season, Ky Bowman, Jordan Chatman, and Wynston Tabbs have registered at least one 28-point performance.
- Bowman poured in 38 vs. Wyoming, Tabbs scored 28 vs. Sacred Heart, and Chatman scored 28 against Providence.
- During 2016-17 and 2017-18, Bowman, Chatman, and Jerome Robinson each had at least 28 points in a single game.
STEFFON MITCHELL: CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARDS
- In 42 career games, Steffon Mitchell has grabbed double-digit rebounds on 18 occasions. BC is 11-7 in those games.
- He ranks third in the ACC - and 44th nationally - in rebounding, at 9.2 boards per outing.
- Last season, Mitchell became the first true freshman in BC history to average better than 8.0 rebounds per game.
- The Shakopee, Minn. native pulled down 8.3 rebounds per game and is the ACC's third-leading returning rebounder.
- Mitchell has four double-doubles so far in 2018-19 and six for his career.
JAIRUS HAMILTON ANNOUNCING PRESENCE WITH AUTHORITY
- Jairus Hamilton scored a season-high 13 points against Providence, making 5-of-8 shots from the floor and 3-of-3 from the FT line.
- He has scored in double figures in three of his last five games, averaging 8.6 points per game over the span.
- The Charlotte native is shooting 60% on his two-point field goals (18-30) this season.
- Hamilton nearly registered his first collegiate double-double vs. Sacred Heart, with 10 points and nine rebounds.
