Ryan leads Falcons to third straight win; Panthers keep pace in NFC South.
It was 11 years ago the last time the Boston College football team faced another ranked opponent. Matt Ryan and the No. 14 Eagles took on No. 6 Virginia Tech in the ACC Championship game. This Saturday, BC hosts ESPN's College GameDay for the first time since 2009 followed by the No. 14 Eagles against No. 2 Clemson at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Ryan, who guided his Atlanta Falcons to a 38-14 win over Washington on Sunday, weighed in on the match-up in his post-game press conference: "Fired up. They're playing really well and finding ways to win. I'm proud of them. They've got a tough test this week, for sure, Clemson. I've got a couple guys from Clemson on our team that I'll be talking to as the week goes on. I'm fired up for it. I think it's a night game, it's a Saturday night game. That'll be fun to watch. They're doing a great job and Steve Addazio has those guys playing really well."

The Falcons improved to 4-4 on the season with their third straight win as Ryan threw for 350 yards; his third game in a row with 350 or more. On the season, he was thrown 19 touchdowns to just three interceptions and totaled 2,685 yards with a 70.8 completion percentage.

Anthony Castonzo | OL | Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis (3-5) took a two-game win streak into its week nine bye. The Colts return to the field for the beginning of a three-week homestand against Jacksonville on Nov. 11.

John Johnson | SS | Los Angeles Rams
The Rams (8-1) suffered their first loss of the season; a 45-35 affair against the Saints (7-1) in New Orleans. Johnson registered a team-leading nine tackles and played all 71 defensive snaps for Los Angeles.

Josh Keyes | LB| Houston Texans
The Texans have overcome a 0-3 start with six consecutive wins. Houston, which re-signed Keyes to its roster ahead of week eight, defeated Denver on the road, 19-17, with a go-ahead, fourth-quarter field goal. Keyes was on the field for 19 special teams plays and made one tackle.

Luke Kuechly | MLB | Carolina Panthers
Carolina (6-2) reeled off its third straight win with a 42-28 victory over Tampa Bay at home. Kuechly posted seven tackles, including five solos and one TFL, while adding one quarterback hit. He played all 67 defensive snaps and his one TFL marked his 10th of the season making this the third time in his career he has reached double figures in the category.

Harold Landry | DE | Tennessee Titans
Tennessee evened its record at 4-4; snapping a three-game losing streak, with a 28-14 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football inside AT&T Stadium. Landry matched a season-high with four tackles and added his second sack of the season. He played 37 (63%) defensive snaps and six special teams plays. Landry's sack of Dallas QB Dak Prescott came in the fourth quarter with the Titans up by a touchdown. He dropped Prescott for a loss of eight; pinning the Cowboys at their own 10-yard line, which led to favorable field position for Tennessee, which scored on the ensuing drive to give its lead a two-score cushion.

The Giants (1-7) were on their bye and return to action at San Francisco next Monday night.

Matt Milano | LB | Buffalo Bills
Buffalo (1-7) was down 28-0 before the half against Chicago and was ultimately defeated, 41-9. In 51 (100%) defensive snaps, Milano made two tackles; both for a loss.

The Giants (1-7) were on their bye and return to action at San Francisco next Monday night.

With its third win in a row, Atlanta pulled its record even at 4-4 with a 38-14 victory at Washington. Ryan tossed for 350 yards and four scores on 26-of-38 passing. He opened the scoring with a 39-yard touchdown pass to running back Tevin Coleman in the first quarter. Before the close of the first half, he hooked up with Calvin Ridley for a 40-yard TD with 28 second left before the break. In the second half, Ryan connected with Coleman again for a 10-yard score and put the game at its final score by finding Julio Jones for a 35-yard catch-and-run touchdown.

Justin Simmons | FS | Denver Broncos
Despite playing all 62 defensive snaps, Simmons notched just one tackle in the Broncos' 19-17 loss to Houston.

Arizona (2-6) was on it bye. The Cardinals resume play Sunday at Kansas City.
