The Boston College women's basketball team will play in the 25th Annual Hawk Classic hosted by St. Joseph's in Philadelphia.

The Eagles will hope up on Saturday, Nov. 24 vs. Loyola (Md.) at 2 p.m. The host Hawks will play Rider at noon. St. Joseph's will play at 2 p.m. against either Boston College or Loyola, while Rider will play at noon against either BC/Loyola. The BC/Loyola game will not be streamed live.

Boston College is currently 4-0 after a tough road win at Houston on Sunday. The Eagles held a one-point led with just over three minutes left in the game and then held the Courgars to just one point. There were a number of key plays in the final minutes to seal the win, including two free throws from freshman Makayla Dickens and an offensive rebound and put in by junior Georgia Pineau.

This is the first time since 2015-16 BC has opened up with four consecutive wins. That season BC won five straight.

The Tournament
- This will be the first meeting between BC and Loyola (0-4).
- Former BC assistant coach Shelley Sheetz is an assistant at Loyola.
- If BC plays Rider (1-3), it will be the first meeting against the Broncs.
- If BC plays St. Joseph's (1-3) it will be the seventh meeting between the two teams.
- BC leads the series, 4-2.
- The two teams first played in 1998 with BC earning a 72-68 victory.
- The last game took place at St. Joe's on Dec. 29. BC lost, 74-57.
- The two teams met in the WNIT Tournament at BC in March 2011. It was the first time the BC's Kerri Shields played against her sister Erin Shields, a guard on the St. Joe's. Kerri Shields led BC in an 86-59 victory as she hit tied the program record with eight three's and finished with 26 points. Erin Shields had 21 points on 4-for-5 shooting in the game.
