- Tonight marks the first all-time meeting between Boston College and Loyola Chicago.
- Both schools are Jesuit institutions of higher learning.
- Current BC assistants Bill Wuczynski (2001-03) and Scott Spinelli (2002-05) spent time on the coaching staff of the Ramblers program.\

- The Cowboys rallied to get within three, outscoring BC 33-14 to get it to 68-65 with 5:40 to play. Â
- Ky Bowman led all scorers with a career-high 38 points. Bowman was 14-of-22 from the floor, making 7-of-12 from beyond the arc and 3-of-3 from the charity stripe. He added seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals in 40 minutes of play.
- Johncarlos Reyes earned his first start of the season, scoring a career-best 15 points (6-7 FG; 3-4 FT) in 19 minutes. Â
- Steffon Mitchell tallied his first double-double of the season - and fifth of his career - with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
- Wynston Tabbs ranks third on the team in scoring through four games - checking in at 12.0 points per game.
- It is believed that the Suitland, Md. native is the first BC freshman to score at least 15 points in his first three games.
- He had 15 points vs. IUPUI and scored 14 of his 15 points in the second half in a win over St. Francis Brooklyn.
- Tabbs scored 16 points in his Boston College debut on Nov. 6 against Milwaukee.
- It was the most points scored by a BC frosh in his debut since Nov. 14, 2015 (Jerome Robinson - 19 pts vs. St. Francis Brooklyn).
- Jordan Chatman returns for his final season of college basketball and is one of the top long-range shooters in the nation. Â
- Chatman was tabbed as the 27th-best shooter nationally by Haslametrics.com.
- Over the past two seasons, he is one of 10 active players to make at least 145 3-pointers and shoot better than 40% from 3FG.
- Last year, BC was 7-3 when Chatman hit at least 4 3FG and 5-0 when he made at least 5 3FG.
- The Vancouver, Wash. native tallied double-figures in scoring in 17 of the Eagles' 19 victories a season ago.
- He enters the 2018-19 season ranked sixth among all active players in career FT% - 90.4% (113-125).
- Andy Katz of NCAA.com tabbed Chatman as one of his 11 under-the-radar players to keep an eye on this season.
- Chatman is poised to become the 44th member of BC's 1,000 point club.
- For his college career, including his freshman year at BYU (2015-16), he has totaled 859 total points.
- Chatman is tied for the BC single-game record for 3FG made with nine, set at Virginia Tech on Jan. 29, 2017.
- With 146 3-pointers made in a BC uniform, Chatman should crack the school's top 10 list for career 3FG makes.
- Steffon Mitchell picked up where he left off, beginning the 2018-19 season by leading the team in rebounding three times.
- He opened the season with 14 rebounds vs. Milwaukee and grabbed 10 boards vs. St. Francis Brooklyn.
- Last time out vs. Wyoming, he registered his first double-double of the season with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
- He ranks second in the ACC in rebounding, at just under 10 boards per outing (9.8 rpg).
- As a freshman, the 6-8 forward was Boston College's top rebounder on 18 occasions a season ago.
- Mitchell became the first true freshman in BC history to average better than 8.0 rebounds per game.
- The Shakopee, Minn. native pulled down 8.3 rebounds per game and is the ACC's third-leading returning rebounder.
- Mitchell's 1.95:1 assist/turnover ratio led the Eagles in 2017-18, just ahead of the 1.93:1 mark by Jordan Chatman.
- In ACC play, Mitchell posted a 2.56:1 ATR, committing just 16 turnovers in 599 minutes played in 17 conference games.
- Overall, Mitchell led BC in at least one statistical category - scoring, rebounding, assists, blocks, or steals - in 31 of 34 games.
- Ky Bowman ranks 33rd on the all-time scoring list (1,169 points) and needs 25 points to pass Kenny Walls '02 for 32nd.
- Jordan Chatman needs 141 points to reach 1,000 for his college career; 236 to score 1,000 points at Boston College; 23 more 3-pointers to crack Boston College's top 10 career 3FGM list.
