
Eagles Return Home to Host No. 17 NC State

Boston College (2-3-3, 1-3-0 ACC) is coming off a two-game conference road trip that included stops at then No. 9 Duke and No. 20 Notre Dame. The Eagles dropped both of those games, falling 3-2 to the Blue Devils and 1-0 to the Fighting Irish. All eight of BC's contests this season have been decided by one goal or less. This will mark the fourth consecutive game against a ranked opponent for the Eagles.

NC State (6-2-2, 1-2-1 ACC) is coming off a 0-0 tie with James Madison at home on Tuesday night. It was the second consecutive tie for the Wolfpack after a 2-2 affair with Louisville on Sept. 28. Gabriel Machado leads NC State with 10 points on four goals and two assists, with three of his scores going for game-winners. On the whole, the Wolfpack has nine different goal scorers and 12 players with points. Leon Krapf has seen all of the time in goal for the team, posting a .940 goals against average, .744 save percentage and five shutouts with his 6-2-2 record.
The Eagles will host Harvard on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the Newton Campus Fields in the penultimate non-conference regular season game of the season for BC.

• The last four meetings between the teams have gone to at least one overtime, including last year's 0-0- draw in Raleigh.
• BC holds a mark of 5-0-2 in Newton. The last time the teams played in Newton, Trevor Davock scored a hat trick for the Eagles in a 5-4 overtime win on Oct. 29, 2016.

LAST TIME OUT
• The Eagles dropped a third consecutive game on Friday, Sept. 28, being edged by then No. 20 Notre Dame, 1-0, in South Bend.
• After a scoreless first half, Aiden McFadden took just four minutes of the second half to put the Fighting Irish up, 1-0.
• Lasse Lehmann was issued a red card in the waning moments of the game.
• It marked the first game of the season in which Callum Johnson was held without a shot attempt.
