Eagles Wrap Up Regular Season Friday at No. 20 Syracuse

BC looking to improve upon its ACC Tournament seeding by staying ahead of the Orange in the standings.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. –The Boston College men's soccer team hits the road on Friday, Oct. 26, when the Eagles wrap up the 2018 regular season at No. 20 Syracuse. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., and the game will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra, which is available via WatchEspn.com or the ESPN App.

Boston College (4-7-3, 2-5-0 ACC) is coming off a 2-1 loss at Rhode Island on Tuesday night. The lightning-delayed match had all three goals scored in the second half, with Simon Enstrom's ninth of the year equalizing in the 56th minute only to see the Rams win it out of the delay with an 80th-minute goal.

While No. 20 Syracuse (7-5-3, 1-4-2) had its six-game unbeaten streak snapped on Tuesday night with a 3-2 loss to Clemson, the Orange is 4-3-3 in the last 10 games. Syracuse has not lost back-to-back contests all season. Goalkeeper Hendrik Hilpert was named the National Player of the Week and the ACC Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 9 after five-save and four-save performances in wins over then No. 1 Wake Forest and Akron.

Boston College will learn its ACC Tournament seeding and opponent after the conclusion of two conference contests that will be played on Saturday, Oct. 27. The Eagles are currently tied for ninth in the overall standings - fourth in the Atlantic Division - with Pitt and have six points to Syracuse's five.
