No. 23 Rhode Island Awaits BC in Final Non-Conference Game

Rams, Eagles will meet for the 25th time in the all-time series
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College men's soccer team hits the road on Tuesday, Oct. 23, when the Eagles wrap up non-conference play at No. 23 Rhode Island. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at the URI Soccer Complex.

Boston College (4-6-3, 2-5-0 ACC) comes into Tuesday's game looking to regain its winning form. The Eagles have dropped three consecutive games, all to ranked opponents. Twelve of BC's 13 games this season have been decided by one goal or less. Simon Enstrom continues to lead the Eagles in points with eight goals and one assist for 17 points. The senior has scored all of BC's game-winning goals thus far. Â

Twenty-third ranked Rhode Island (10-3-0, 4-2-0 A10) is coming off a 3-1 road loss at Duquesne on Saturday night, ending a four-game winning streak for the Rams. URI has only been shutout once this season (a 1-0 loss against Brown on Sept. 22).

The Eagles and Rams have three common opponents this season in Boston University, Holy Cross and Providence. BC tied all three of those games while URI won all three contests.
