Eagles to Race at National Open

BC will face five ranked opponents at Penn State
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's cross country team will continue the season at the Penn State National Open, taking place at the Blue-White Golf Course on Friday, Oct. 12.

Of the 27 programs the Eagles will face, five are ranked while another two are receiving votes in the USTFCCCA Coaches Poll. BC will race against No. 14 Michigan State and No. 19 Penn State, as well as No. 26 Georgia Tech, No. 27 Utah and No. 29 Princeton. Dartmouth and Georgetown, who are receiving votes in the poll, will also be competing on Friday.

Last weekend, the Eagles had an impressive showing at the New England (NEICAAA) Cross Country Championship, securing the team title by a 51-point margin.

The women's 6K will begin at 10:45 a.m. at the Blue-White Golf Course.
