BOSTON COLLEGE IN ACC PLAY

Boston College is 72-134 (.348) in 12 seasons in the ACC.
The Eagles began ACC play with an 89-84 win over top-ranked Duke.
Last season, the Eagles finished with a 2-16 mark in league play.
The Eagles' best ACC mark came in its inaugural season, going 11-5 in conference play in 2005-06 en route to a third place finish.

In conference play, Jerome Robinson is the ACC's scoring leader.
Robinson is averaging 26.5 points per game in four ACC contests.

At Virginia, the junior guard scored a season-high 29 points - three short of his career-best - 18 coming in the second half.

He is shooting 56.1% from the floor (37-66) and 59.3% from the perimeter (16-27) in conference play.

CAROLINA BORN, CAROLINA BRED

Boston College's starting backcourt of Ky Bowman (Havelock) and Jerome Robinson (Raleigh) are North Carolina natives.
In 10 games versus the N.C. schools in the ACC, Robinson is averaging 19.6 points per game (10 total games).
Bowman is averaging 19.0 points per game in eight matchups against UNC/Duke/Wake Forest/ N.C. State.
In the games played in the Tar Heel state, Robinson is averaging 18.0 ppg (three games) and Bowman 16.5 (two games).
Robinson and Bowman have faced UNC once in their Boston College careers - Jan. 21, 2017 at Conte Forum.
Bowman poured in a career-high 33 points (13-19 FG; 7-9 3FG) while Robinson added 18 (7-21 FG; 2-7 3FG).

Through the first seven games of the season (prior to the Nebraska game), Ky Bowman accounted for 19.9% of the offense and Jerome Robinson (19.1%), Deontae Hawkins (17.5) and Jordan Chatman (13.1) accounted for 70.0% of the BC scoring.
Since the Hartford game, Robinson (28.4), Bowman (21.6), and Chatman (21.5) account for 71.5% of the offensive output.

Ky Bowman: THE MOST CONSISTENT PLAYER IN THE COUNTRY

Ky Bowman is the only player in the country to average at least 15.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game.
Bowman's 7.1 boards per game average is the best nationally among players that are 6-1 or under.
The last player 6-1 or shorter to average at least 7.1 rpg for a season was Jeff Early of Southern Illinois (7.2) in 2012-13.
Bowman is also the only player in the ACC to rank among the top 20 in scoring and rebounding and top 10 in assists.
He ranks 11th in the ACC in scoring, 16th in rebounding, and is fifth in assists.
Among the top 10 conferences (per KenPom), only six players rank among the top 10 in scoring and assists and top 20 in rebounding: Jevon Carter (WVU), Caleb Martin (Nevada), Chandler Hutchison (Boise St.), Malik Yarbrough (Illinois St.) and Peyton Aldridge (Davidson).
Prior to the Dec. 30 game at Virginia, he was the only player in the nation to have at least 10 pts/3 reb/3 asst in every game.

CHAT SESSION

Jordan Chatman is averaging 16.7 points over the last seven games - despite going scoreless vs. #25/25 Clemson.
He has connected on 54.3% (25-46) from 3-point land over the seven game span.
At Virginia, Chatman scored an efficient 18 points on just seven shots. He was 5-of-7 (4-5 3FG) and 4-of-4 from the FT line.
The junior guard tied his career-high with 30 points vs. Richmond, making 10-of-16 shots from the floor - including seven 3FG.
The junior from Vancouver, Wash. poured in 22 points (5-9 3FG) in the win over top-ranked Duke, playing all 40 minutes.
Chatman is tied for the team lead with 37 3-pointers and is third in scoring at 13.5 points per game.

In the three games where Ky Bowman has grabbed 10 or more rebounds, he is averaging 6.0 assists.
Jordan Chatman is averaging 15.5 points per game in wins; 7.8 points per game in losses.
Jerome Robinson now sits in 31st place on the Boston College scoring list. He needs 34 more points to crack the top 30.
The big three of Bowman, Chatman, and Robinson have been on the floor for 97.5% of the 160 minutes of ACC play so far.

HIGH BOARD SCORES FOR MITCHELL

Steffon Mitchell is poised to become the sixth Boston College freshman to lead the team in rebounds/game since 1972-73.
The freshman from Shakopee, Minn. would be the fourth BC player to average better than 7.0 rebounds per game as a frosh.
The others: Ryan Anderson (2011-12, 7.4 rpg); Craig Smith (2002-03, 7.9); Danya Abrams (1993-94, 7.1).
Mitchell currently ranks 10th in the ACC in rebounding, at 7.6 boards per outing.
Anderson ranked seventh in the ACC in rebounding, while Smith was seventh and Abrams 10th in the Big East.

EAGLES OFF TO BEST START SINCE 2010-11

Boston College's 11-5 start to the season is the best since the 2010-11 season.
That year, the Eagles opened with an 12-4 record through their first 16 games.
BC began the year with a 3-2 mark before starting a seven-game win streak through late November and December.
Included in that seven-game streak were wins over California, Indiana, UMass, Providence, and Maryland.
