Men's tennis notches win in a 7-0 decision
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College men's tennis team made a strong showing Friday evening as they swept Fordham, 7-0, in Chestnut Hill.

This is the Eagles' (1-0) first sweep since hosting Babson on March 31, 2017.

The doubles point was quickly won for Maroon and Gold, so the No. 3 position doubles did not finish, though Kent Mukai and Max Palmer led 5-2.

Every singles match was won in two sets for a quick defeat. Derek Austin defeated Fordham's Max Green, 6-1, 6-2, while Will Turner downed Steven Duke 6-2, 6-1.

The Eagles will return to the court as February 3, as they host their first ACC matchup, Notre Dame, at 11 a.m. and St. Francis College Brooklyn at 4:30 p.m.
