
Game Preview: Eagles Travel To Clemson on Thursday

Boston College hits the road for a Thursday tip at 7 on ACC Network Extra
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's basketball team will travel to South Carolina to play Clemson on Thursday at 7 p.m. in an ACC matchup. Fans can view the game online on ACC Network Extra.
Boston College will return home on Sunday to play Miami at 1 p.m. BC Athletics will celebrate the National Girls & Women in Sports Day. Athletics will host a free event for all youth (8th grade and younger). The event will feature free skill sessions with BC varsity women's teams. And after that, all attendees and their chaperone will get free admission to watch BC Women's Basketball against Miami. Registration for the event begins at 9:30, with a women's basketball clinic following at 10am. Boston College is currently 6-11 overall and 1-3 in the ACC. BC is looking to break a two-game losing stream with losses to Virginia at home and Notre Dame on the road.
The Eagles are led offensively by freshman guard Milan Bolden-Morris who is averaging 13.6 points per game and leads the team in three-pointers made with 52. Sophomore guard Taylor Ortlepp is second on the team in scoring (10.7 ppg.) and is second on the team in three-pointers with 27. Sophomore Georgia Pineau averages 10.7 points per game for BC and leads the team in rebounding at 7.5.
Clemson is 10-8 overall and 0-5 in the conference. The Tigers went 10-3 in non-conference action. Clemson is coming off a tough 72-60 loss at home to Miami. The Tigers have not won since defeating FIU on the road on Dec. 21. The five ACC losses are at Georgia Tech, vs. FSU, at UVA, at UNC and vs. Miami.
The Tigers are led by Danielle Edwards with a 10.3 points per game averaged while Jaia Alexander is averaging=9.1 points per game. Kobi Thornton leads the Tigers in rebounds at 6.8
