CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College men's basketball team improved to 10-1 at home when it defeated ACC rival, Florida State, 81-75, at Conte Forum on Monday night.
BC shot 46.4 percent from the floor with nine 3-pointers, 20 free throws and 16 assists. Sophomore Ky Bowman had 19 points with 13 defensive rebounds. Junior Jerome Robinson also added 19 points on the night, while classmate Jordan Chatman chipped in with 14.
The win over FSU marked the first time in six years that the Eagles defeated the Seminoles. Before Monday night, FSU had outscored the Eagles by an average of 15 points since Feb. 8, 2012.
BC looks to improve to 4-3 in conference play when they take on Louisville in Kentucky on Sunday, Jan. 21 at noon.
