Post Game Comment From Head Coach Erik Johnson
"We always talk about what you can get out of every experience. We have some players that have experience this atmosphere. We have some young ones that have experience trial by fire today. Obviously early they got in the passing lanes and took the ball from us, got us on our heels. Hey as coaches' we have seen that before. We have seen that with good teams. I was proud that we fought and got it going from the three-point line late. I think those shots could have been there early, we were going to have to work a little harder to be able to get those shots. Clearly, once you let Notre Dame get going in transition. They are an amazing team … they are well coached … all the credit goes to their coaching staff. They clearly set the tone from the beginning to the end. Again, I'm proud of our kids. We have a fun young group to coach. They have a lot of fight in them, we just need more consistency.''
