CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College football team fell to Notre Dame, 49-20, in front of a sellout crowd of 44,500 fans at Alumni Stadium on Saturday.
Despite the loss, redshirt freshman quarterback Anthony Brown bounced back from his performance against Wake Forest. Brown completed 24-of-40 passes for a career high 215 yards, including two touchdown passes of 22 and 13 yards to graduate wide receiver Charlie Callinan.
Callinan also had a stand-out performance against Notre Dame, recording a career-high seven catches for 82 yards and two touchdowns. (Globe)
