Long Island native heads to The Heights to start his career in 2017-18
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Newcomer Christopher Grando skates to The Heights as Boston College's third forward of the 2017-18 class following a two-year tenure with the Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League.
In his last season with Green Bay in 2016-17, Grando accrued 33 points (nine goals and 24 assists) and doled out an assist in the Gamblers' playoff run. In 2015-16, the Islip, N.Y. native accounted for 13 goals and eight assists in 55 games played.
The 5-foot-10 forward won a New Jersey state championship and an AYHL title after scoring six goals and 19 assists with the North Jersey Avalanche U18 in 2014-15.
