- Junior Chloe Sharabba went 1-for-2 with a double, a walk, a run and one RBI.
- Senior Jordan Weed finished the game with two scoreless innings, reducing her opponents' batting average to .203.
- The Eagles have recorded seven shutouts this season.
- BC has won six of its last seven games.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- DiEmmanuele sent a grounder toward third and reached on the third baseman's error, making it to second on the play in the bottom of the second. She stole third, and the catcher threw it over the third baseman's head, allowing DiEmmanuele to score and make it 1-0.
- Dreswick began the game with three perfect innings, not surrendering a hit until Nicole Lundstrom singled in the fourth. However, she didn't let any runner advance past first.
- BC took a 4-0 lead in the fourth. Sharabba and senior Tatiana Cortez began the frame with walks. Chimento lined a single to center to score Sharabba and push Cortez to second, making it 2-0. Hixenbaugh singled to left and advanced to second on the throw, scoring Chimento and Cortez.
- Murphy and Sharabba hit consecutive singles in the fifth. Murphy scored to solidify BC's 5-0 lead.
