Eagles To Compete In Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament

BC will face Texas Tech on November 18 at Mohegan Sun

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College will take part in the 2017 Tip-Off Tournament hosted by The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on November 18-19 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.

The Eagles will take on Texas Tech on Saturday and then face either Northwestern or La Salle the following day.

Eight teams will compete in two four-team brackets. The other bracket includes Maine, Sacred Heart, Saint Peter's and South Alabama.

General public tickets will go on sale Friday, September 8 at 10 a.m. via all Ticketmaster outlets and the Mohegan Sun Arena box office. Pre-sales for participating schools begin Thursday, June 1. In addition, Boston College will host Maine on Friday, November 10 and Sacred Heart on Tuesday, November 14 at Conte Forum in non-bracketed games of the Tip-Off Tournament.
