
Five Go 2-0 in Sweep Over Holy Cross

BC posts two 6-0 victories in doubles
WORCESTER, Mass. – The Boston College men's tennis team defeated Holy Cross, 7-0, in Tuesday's nonconference road contest.
BC swept doubles play and won all six singles matches. Five Eagles – juniors Kent Mukai and Jeffrey Melvin, sophomore Peter Campana and freshmen Alexander Chieffalo and Nicolas deQuesada – went 2-0, winning both their singles and doubles matches.
The Eagles earned the doubles point with wins on all three courts, including 6-0 wins from Melvin and Mukai (first doubles) and Campana and deQuesada (second doubles).
BC improved to 5-15. Holy Cross fell to 4-13.
The Eagles will next host No. 1 Wake Forest on Friday at the Flynn Recreation Complex.
