Mullins Earns Victory in Loss to No. 1 Wake Forest

Nation’s top-ranked team defeats BC
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College men's tennis team fell to No. 1 Wake Forest, 6-1, in Friday's ACC home contest.

Junior Conor Mullins earned a straight-set victory in sixth singles for the Eagles (5-16, 0-11 ACC), winning 6-2, 6-1 against Wake Forest's Charles Perry.

The Eagles were also competitive in doubles against the nation's top-ranked team at the Flynn Recreation Complex. Juniors Kent Mukai and Jeffrey Melvin took a 5-3 lead in third doubles before the Demon Deacons (24-1, 11-0 ACC) clinched the doubles point on the No. 1 and 2 courts.

BC will conclude the regular season hosting Clemson on Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Flynn Recreation Complex.
