- Freshman Christian Cavaliere finished five strokes behind Hallisey at +19 (88-69-78—235). That put him at T51 for the weekend. He finished with a team-best 10 birdies.
- His second-round 69 was the sixth-best round in the entire field.
- Sophomore Matthew Naumec was a stroke behind Cavaliere with a +20 (77-81-78---236) showing.
