Men's Roundup
Men's fencing claimed first place at the 2017 New England Championships over the weekend. The team earned the win by the head-to-head tie-breaker rule after the 12 rounds of competition.

The Eagles were led by the sabre squad as the Eagles won 31-of-35 bouts, while foil and epee won 26 bouts each.

Ethan Grab placed first in the epee event while Rahul Tasker was third in the sabre event. Eliot Kim placed fifth in sabre. In foil, Zach Hammer was fifth and Cam Mayer placed seventh.

Women's Roundup

The women's team placed third behind Brandeis and MIT. The sabre squad was first, while epee placed third and foil was fourth.

Three fencers advanced to the final round – Gaby Chau was third in sabre while Laura Donovan was sixth and Ceara Sweeney was eighth in epee.
