BC HIGHLIGHTS
- The Eagles didn't allow a single earned run in the doubleheader, including junior Jessica Dreswick's seven innings against James Madison. Senior Jordan Weed threw three shutout innings against UTC, while sophomore Kendra Friedt finished the game with two scoreless innings.
- Weed lowered her ERA to 1.17.
- The Eagles have allowed three runs or fewer in their last seven games, and four runs or fewer in their last 11 games.
- Junior Chloe Sharabba batted 2-for-3 with two runs, one RBI, a double and a stolen base against the Mocs.
- Senior Taylor Coroneos – batting .373 – hit 2-for-3 with two runs, one RBI and a walk against UTC.
- Junior Annie Murphy went 2-for-3 with a two-RBI single against the Mocs.
- Junior Jordan Chimento and sophomore Carly Severini each posted two hits and a run versus UTC.
- Severini also hit a double against the Mocs.
- The Eagles stole five bases against UTC: three from sophomore Lexi DiEmmanuele and one each from Chimento and Sharabba.
- DiEmmanuele and Sharabba stole home against the Mocs. DiEmmanuele also stole home Friday versus Charlotte.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Coroneos and Chimento singled in the first inning. Then senior Tatiana Cortez singled to load the bases and set up Sharabba's RBI single.
- Sophomore Allyson Moore then singled up the middle to score Chimento and make it 2-0.
- Murphy extended BC's lead to 4-0 with a two-RBI single through the right.
- DiEmmanuele walked to lead off the second inning. She stole second during Chimento's ensuing at bat. Chimento singled, and DiEmmanuele advanced to third. Then they recorded a successful double steal. DiEmmanuele stole home to give BC a 5-0 lead.
- Severini doubled to left center in the third inning. Coroneos singled up the middle to score Severini, and Coroneos advanced to second on the throw. BC took a 6-0 lead.
- DiEmmanuele then bunted and reached on an error, scoring Coroneos for the Eagles' 7-0 lead.
- Sharabba doubled in the fourth and advanced to third on a wild pitch. Moore walked to put runners at the corners. UTC caught Moore stealing, allowing Sharabba to steal home and give BC the 8-0 advantage.
- Friedt closed out the game with two shutout innings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Dreswick and James Madison pitcher Megan Good began their pitcher's duel with two scoreless innings. Dreswick did not allow the Dukes' first eight batters to reach base.
- James Madison's Kierstin Roadcap reached on an error and advanced to second with two outs in the top of the third. Samuels pinch ran for her, setting up Tolle's RBI single.
- Following a James Madison single in the top of the fourth, Dreswick retired the next seven hitters.
- Dreswick did not allow another run to cross, but the Dukes maintained their 1-0 lead.
