Home Opener Postponed to Thursday

Eagles to host UMass Lowell on Thursday at 4 p.m.

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College softball team's home opener – originally scheduled for Wednesday at 4 p.m. – has been postponed to Thursday at 4 p.m. because of field conditions.

The Eagles (17-12) are slated to begin their home schedule against UMass Lowell (7-12) at Shea Field.

BC has reworked its schedule because of weather issues this week. This weekend's series against Syracuse has been moved to Brown Softball Field in Providence, R.I. The game against Central Connecticut State – originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 27 – was postponed to Tuesday, April 4.
