The men took first and the women took second in the annual UConn Husky Open
This weekend the Eagles competed in the annual Husky Open, hosted by UConn. In the last regular season meet, the men swam against UConn, BU, Southern Connecticut State and the US Coast Guard Academy. BC came out on top with a final score of 638.2, while UConn placed second (615.6) and BU was third with 587.7 points. Southern Connecticut placed fourth with 400.1 and the US Coast Guard was last with 389.5 points. The women competed against only UConn and Southern Connecticut, and finished second with 608.4 points, while UConn had 613.6 points for second place.
Southern Connecticut was third with 490.8 points.

- Connor Futch and Brendan Gatward went head-to-head in the 200 yd. backstroke and both turned in lifetime best swims. Connor won with a time of 1:51.64, while Gatward trailed narrowly with a time of 1:51.94.Â
- Arthur Hidalgo won the 1000 yd. freestyle (9:52.91), and was the BC's top performer in the 500-yard freestyle (4:44.54).
- Max Threlkeld placed second in the 100 yd. freestyle (47.35), and was the Eagles second finisher in the 50 yd. freestyle (21.59).
- Cole Vandewel swam the 200 yard freetyle in 1:43.83.
- Lucas Saliba turned in a personal best in the 400 yd. IM, and placed first in the meet (4:06.44).Â
- Chloe Kargodorian clocked in at 2:06.81 to win the 200 yd. butterfly. Her time of 1:56.76 in the 200 yd. freestyle was her best time this season, and took second place at the event.
- Maddie Simone won the 500 yd. freestyle (5:14.57), and was the swam 1650 yd. freestyle in 17:53.96. Both of her times were personal season bests.
- Maria Russo placed second in the 200 yd. IM (2:11.83) and third in the 200 yd. butterfly (2:10.34).
- Maria Abrams won the 50 yd. freestyle (24.65) and swam the 100 yd. freestyle in 54.10.Â
- Dakota Meyer won the 200 yd. breaststroke with a time of 2:27.00.
- Caroline Even won the 100 yd. butterfly (57.87) and placed second in the 50 yd. butterfly with a time of 26.39.
