Pittsburgh used a 32-11 run that lasted nearly 10 minutes to build a 54-40 lead. It led the rest of the way.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Boston College went on a 12-2 run over 3:05 to take a 20-14 lead at the 11:06 mark of the first half. Sophomore Jordan Chatman had five of the points.
- The Eagles maintained that lead until Pittsburgh scored eight unanswered points to regain a 30-29 lead with 1:24 left.
- The game was tied at halftime, 31-31.
- The Panthers continued their momentum in the second half, extending their run to 32-11 to take a 54-40 lead with 12:39 left in the game. The run spanned a total of 9:43.
- The Pitt lead was at least six points the rest of the way.
