- Cortez led off the second inning with a double. Sophomore Lexi DiEmmanuele scored her on a sacrifice grounder to give BC a 1-0 lead.
- FGCU's Brittany McGuire tied up the game with an RBI double in the bottom of the seventh to force extras.
- Fortner led off the bottom of the ninth with her walk-off homer.
