Moore will miss the game due to injury
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – For the first time since 2011, two Boston College players have been invited to play in the Reese's Senior Bowl, the organization announced Monday. Senior defensive end Harold Landry accepted an invitation to play in the game while senior cornerback Kamrin Moore was invited as well, but will miss the game due to a shoulder injury.
The game will be Jan. 27 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala., with live television coverage on NFL Network (2:30 p.m.).
Landry earned All-ACC honors for the third time in his career after an injury-riddled senior campaign. The North Carolina product played in eight games before an ankle injury forced him to miss the final four games of the regular season. Landry is tied for the team lead with five sacks and ranks second in BC career history with 26.0 sacks.
Moore, who was named captain prior to the year, had his productive BC career cut short due to the injury. Moore played in 44 career games with 31 career starts. A tough, hard-nosed competitor who is an excellent tackler, Moore totaled 140 career tackles, 6.0 tackles-for-loss, 24 pass breakups and two interceptions in his career on The Heights.
As a senior, Moore started 10 games and finished with 50 tackles, two TFLs and nine pass breakups.
All-time, Boston College has had 48 players in the Senior Bowl, including Los Angeles Rams third-round pick John Johnson last season.
The Senior Bowl is the nation's most unique football game and football's premier senior showcase event.
